The Operations Road Show is an ongoing project. In the past it was a large portable HO scale layout used to demonstrate and teach prototypical timetable and train order operation in a friendly, low-pressure environment. The HO scale layout was then ‘retired’ in 2018. In 2022, a partnership was started with a group of Free-MoN modelers to set up layouts at National Conventions.
In 2025 at the Novi National Convention the torch was then passed to the N Scale Events Group, NEG, and we are now the stewards of the Operations Road Show. We will continue to hold operating sessions at National Conventions for attendees.
This will be a work in progress as there are a few new ideas that we want to accomplish. And we will be updating the site as these ideas get more defined and also getting the information from the old site uploaded to ours.
